Rodney T. Doyle’s practice involves the handling of a wide range of business litigation matters, including personal injury defense, insurance defense, and general commercial disputes, in various state and municipal courts in New York. Prior to joining BurgherGray, Mr. Doyle, among other things, clerked for a New York State Supreme Court Judge, worked for a law firm specializing in insurance defense litigation, and operated his own independent practice focused on civil litigation matters for both plaintiffs and defendants. Whether at the pleading stage, during the discovery process, in motion practice, at trial or at the appellate level, Mr. Doyle zealously pursues his clients’ interests. He is very familiar with the variety of venues, judges and procedural requirements of the New York Supreme and Civil Courts, where he has been quite successful in securing favorable outcomes on behalf of his clients. Mr. Doyle’s experience as a staff accountant for a bulge bracket accounting firm and as tax counsel for a global financial institution has made him very knowledgeable of, and agile with, financial and accounting concepts and practices, which he leverages to his clients’ benefit in litigation matters involving such concepts
