Damola Adewale is an associate at BurgherGray LLP, where his practice focuses on general corporate, debt finance, and commercial lending matters. He represents large financial institutions and other sophisticated lenders in a wide range of financing transactions, including secured credit facilities and other complex commercial finance arrangements.
Damola regularly advises clients on the structuring, documentation, and execution of financing transactions and corporate matters. His experience includes representing commercial banks, private lenders, community development financial institutions, and other financial institutions in secured and unsecured lending transactions, acquisition financings, construction loans, and asset-based credit facilities. His practice also includes drafting and negotiating loan and security agreements, conducting legal due diligence, and supporting clients in connection with the origination, administration, and closing of credit facilities.
Prior to joining BurgherGray LLP in 2025, Damola practiced at Lowenstein Sandler LLP, where he focused on general corporate matters, venture capital transactions, and fund formation. In that role, he advised emerging companies, investors, and sponsors on corporate governance, capital-raising transactions, and investment structures.
Damola earned his Juris Doctor, with Honors, from the University of Iowa College of Law in 2022. He is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey, and Iowa.
