Augusto Egoavil is a corporate finance attorney specialized in cross-border transactions. As part of his practice he advises clients in doing out-bound and in-bound business from and into the United States. As part of his practice he advises clients about how to structure business operations, corporate structuring, tax structuring, corporate governance rules between the home office and the affiliates, and transfer of assets and know-how and IP. He also advises clients in M&A, project financing and venture capital funding. He combines with business and commercial law practice with tax law advice in such matters as assisting clients under tax relief programs, tax compliance, filing of federal and state income and estate and gift tax returns, pre-immigration tax planning, out-bound tax planning through the use of the United States income tax treaty network. He also assists high net worth individuals in the U.S. in structuring asset protection schemes that are tax efficient for purposes of federal and state income and transfer taxes, including structuring of domestic and offshore companies and trusts, wills and other estate planning documents.  

Prior to joining BurgherGray, Mr. Egoavil was a partner at CKR Law (New York), before which he was a partner at Egoavil & Horvat PLLC.
