Patrick Valentino is a partner at BurgherGray with approximately 30 years of experience representing clients in commercial real estate and affordable housing transactions. Patrick has negotiated and closed hundreds of commercial real estate transactions including property acquisitions, debt acquisitions and sales, workouts of distressed assets, lending transactions, complex leases and joint venture agreements. Within commercial real estate, Patrick has developed strong expertise in distressed debt acquisitions/sales and commercial leasing. His practice covers all commercial property asset classes with a particular focus in hospitality.

Patrick’s extensive community development work includes projects ranging from the preservation of affordable housing to large scale public/private developments.

Before joining BurgherGray, Patrick was a partner at several law firms specializing in complex real estate transactions. Prior to his legal career, Patrick served as a senior professional with several investment banks focusing on public finance, mergers and acquisitions and private equity. Patrick began his career in New York with Merrill Lynch Capital Market’s Public Finance Investment Banking Group.

Patrick received his J.D. from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and graduated with a B.A. magna cum laude from the State University of New York, at Albany.
