Aimée S. Lin


Aimée S. Lin is a seasoned employment attorney and litigator, representing employers in all manner of issues that arise in the workplace. She has represented clients in federal and state court, before administrative agencies (such as the EEOC), and in arbitration. Such matters include discrimination based on race, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, and disability; harassment; retaliation; Family Medical Leave Act claims; whistleblower claims; wage and hour claims; various tort claims arising from the workplace, including defamation, false arrest, malicious prosecution, assault, intentional/negligent infliction of emotional distress, and negligent hiring and supervision; breach of non-competes; misappropriation of an employer’s confidential/proprietary information; and breach of promissory notes, including execution of wage garnishments.


Aimée also advises employers with respect to various employment issues, ranging from day-to-day matters to more strategic undertakings. These include disability and religious accommodations, infectious disease policies, leaves of absence, employee discipline, internal investigations, reductions in force, employee handbooks and policies, compliance with wage and hour laws, and compliance audits. She makes recommendations with an eye toward mitigating risk for employers while satisfying their business and operational needs. Aimée also drafts a variety of agreements, including non-disclosure agreements, non-competes, non-solicitation agreements, employment agreements, offer letters and separation agreements.
