Sheuvaun Vernon is a corporate associate at BurgherGray (New York). She focuses her practice primarily in corporate transactions, with a strong interest in securities and finance. Among her numerous practice areas, Sheuvaun assists with representing equity investors in structured finance and securitization transactions, including the refinancing of collateralized loan obligations.
Prior to joining BurgherGray, Sheuvaun developed her knowledge of the finance industry working for Two Sigma Investments, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). Sheuvaun’s diverse background working for private, public and government organizations provides her with a wealth of experience and the ability to address matters with an open-minded and comprehensive approach.
Sheuvaun is a co-founder and member of Fordham Law’s Alumni Attorney of Color’s New Attorney Division. She is also a member of the Corporate, M&A and Securities Subcommittee of the National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF).
